It takes very little force to spin that fast. The beautiful detail on the lid also makes it easier to grip when turning. I use it to wash and then store the salad in the fridge.

Don't waste your money on this. The spinner's lid makes an unbearable squeak and has too much drag that you won't be able to spin quickly to flush out all the water. Useless. Unfortunately, I disposed of the packaging material, otherwise I would have returned it.

It's nice and big but it doesn't have rubber feet or a handle. It comes with 4 plastic bottom points. It doesn't stick to the pole. It's hard to turn and hold on to at the same time. One of the key design features seems to be missing. I had rubber feet on hand and replaced the plastic dots with them. Although I don't know how he copes with the washing.

I broke another salad bowl recently but I think it was a stroke of luck because this ozeri is so much better! There is no doubt that it will turn and the salad will come out so dry! (I've only used it for salad so far, but I know I'll use it for other veggies.) It's well done; looks sturdy and looks like it will last for years if i manage not to drop it. . . . I'm very glad I bought it to replace my old one.

The Ozeri Fresca Salad Spinner does what it's supposed to do, thoroughly rinsing and draining the greens. It has a large capacity, can spin quickly and drains water well. The clear shell does its job well and has held up well to use so far. As mentioned elsewhere, it squeaks when you turn it, but that noise diminishes with use. I hope it goes away with time but it's not a problem for me. I use the spinner almost every day, sometimes 2 times a day.
