Fits well at the waist. They're a little longer than I thought, but better than too short. The material is a little thin, but it can help in the summer.

Too large for the average first grader. I think they would probably fit a 10 year old. They are NOT transparent as some reviewers claim. The material feels comfortable. Good for everyday. I'm 6ft tall with a 32" waist and they fit me perfectly lol.
