I've been buying these boxes for a few months now. In the last packages I bought, almost all the defective boxes were left. They disintegrate when opening and closing the lid. The cover is moved; breaks. Trying to contact the seller but after 5 days I still haven't received an answer.

When I unpacked the cases for the rings, they emitted a terrible smell. I left them open for a few hours to see if that would help. It's not like this. I've just sprayed them with fever and hope this gets rid of the bad smell. I will definitely not store jewelry in it or give as gifts unless the smell is removed. The boxes make a solid impression.

I was a bit worried after reading some reviews about the smell related to the product but I have to say that this is a very high quality box with a velvety finish is . and feel. I have used it as gift wrap for rings and earrings and it worked and looked perfect! There was absolutely no smell from these boxes. Highly recommend for a great jewelry display.

I bought these for a pair of large rings I bought for my mother which came without boxes. The rings were southwestern style turquoise rings with a silver turquoise setting much wider than the band (perhaps an inch). These boxes were good but the rings didn't fit. They only fit "regular" rings and will not fit spoon rings, large southwestern style rings, etc.

i have these ring boxes that i will give to my bridesmaids as part of their bridesmaid proposal. At $10 it's definitely worth it if you're giving a friend a ring, but I wouldn't recommend this box if you're using it to propose to your significant other (be sure to splurge on THIS ring box) . It had a slight odor, so if the person you're gifting the jewelry to isn't sniffing the box, it doesn't matter.

I inherited my dad's cool ring from the Naval Academy and need a ring box to keep it. Ring . but the ring slot is almost horizontal and the slot is wide enough to hold the thinnest ring (whereas in every other ring box I've seen, like the black one in the photo, the ring goes straight down and is chunky). college rings are placed in the slot). These gray ring boxes were a big disappointment. Send back - unusable.

They fit items up to 2" x 2". The size is the same throughout the lid; it doesn't taper upwards like some boxes do. The lining is solid color and although not neatly stitched, the whole gives a neat and collected look. One of the boxes had a small bead of glue on top which spoils the look a bit and the corners on the outside are a little ruffled and wrinkled instead of being neatly tucked in. Overall good value for money and well suited for most jewelery gifts - you would have to pay a lot more
