The ad makes you think they are made of metal whereas the stakes are wire. The butterflies may be plastic but looks and feels like paper. I will not buy again. I reread add and they never discuss what the material is and now I see why.

I installed them in my garden they are attractive and a good conversation piece but on a strong windy day the small wings are torn off and sometimes off the stems have to go around putting them back on.

The butterflies themselves were lovely but the stems you attached them to were useless. I bought some kebab skewers and taped them on otherwise they were no use.

The stakes for these butterflies are too thin. And, the stakes are too thin for the size of the holes provided. As such, the butterflies blow off the stakes in high wind.

Butterflies were beautiful and well made but the sticks were not included. How can they be advertised as yard stakes if there aren't any stakes. I used wooden skewers and it worked but the stakes should have been included.

I was in shock when I got these. They are gorgeous big and made out of a thick plastic material. $19 is an insanely good price for these. Get them!

The colors are bright and vibrant. However the inner set of wings is somewhat flimsy and tear in light wind and I am finding them in my yard. They should last for a season. They worked well for my seasonal project.

I set up a surprise butterfly garden for my girlfriend’s birthday. I attached birthday greetings from friends to each one and placed them by her front door flowerbed. It poured rain all day and these butterflies held up to the rain and could be re-used. Nice big size.

Cannot stand up in rain, paper like Texture when it rains, or really hot outside they bend in half I do not recommend this product

I loved the size great for outside unless a strong wind blows, they will blow apart. I decided to use them in flower arrangements wreaths and houseplants. They are cute fluttering .

I placed the butterflies in a hostas garden in our neighborhood. The kids LOVE THEM. It is great for the parents to take the kids and count how many butterflies they can find.

They have only been in my yard for about 12 hours and already the wings are breaking off in the wind. If you live where there is much wind, I would not recommend buying them.
