Have not used yet but have tried to move off/on lever for ball valve to get it loosened up, again the feel of the unit is that it should last forever and moving the ball valve may take that long to loosen up for positioning the lever is small.

I have many of these they are great to have at the end of your hose so if you need to shut off or slow the flow of water there is no need to walk back to other end of hose.

I almost decided to order a different set of these because of all the negative reviews that stated the on/off lever wouldn't move. Being the crafty guy that I am & a Mr. FixIt to boot, I ordered anyways. Couldn't beat that price if I tried, not even in town here. The only thing I didn't like was that the bag had only 1 extra washer instead of the 10 shown in photo and description. The reason I purchased this because it had extra washers.

i cant find this item cheaper anywhere. I put one on every hose. I wont buy the plastic ones ever again. Sometimes the valve handle hits my attachment, not just with this one, all of them, plastic or brass, and any brand. They need to be made 1/2 inch longer.

I bought these because of the description of Heavy Brass material so it would be much better than the plastic ones I was getting at the discount stores. 1) shipping was great and fast. 2) Like other reviewers said, you will absolutely need a pair of plyers to turn the shut off arm to start. extremely tight. 3) Many people should think about getting ones with LONGER Arms that would be easier to turn or adjust going forward.

Hard to control flow. Hard to open chincy valve with pressure. Just go to store and buy a real off on vaive Very strong material!

I tried saving a few dollars and got the plastic version of these. They only lasted one season and then cracked and leaked. Get these. All metal and worth the extra cash and less hassle.

These are a solid set of valves and the extra prongs that are included are really handy as I needed to replace my attachment’s o-rings as they have cracked over winter. Great product and glad it comes in a two pack. Nicer than Home Depot’s valves and half the price.

The shut off has not stripped out or broken yet after daily use. Would be ideal to be able to purchase new shut off knobs! The valves may not withstand extreme temperatures!

Install by hand with no tools. Ball valve for a positive shut-off to quickly change nozzle or just shut off water. I use this ball valve with the Hourleey quick change hose fittings.

I bought two hoses, a 50ft and a 100ft. The 50ft is connected in my basement to a faucet, and the 100ft is outside. The valve is between them (outside) so I don't have to go in the basement (difficult access) to turn water on and off. It works great and makes using the outside hose easy.

Love them (both) Awesome Deal, two valves with 10 Seals (i got only 6-8 of them - did not care i got enough of them to use both valves with new seals and spares. I really like these brass inline valves for my hose but the only thing is they corrode, I should have looked for stainless ones. Other than that they are great, replaced plastic one I had on my garden hose for the last couple years. We shall see how long these last but so far so good.

I use these for my garden hoses so I don't waste water during the current drought as I move hoses around when watering. They seem very sturdy thus far since all metal. The valve handle was very stiff when first turned. They were just installed, so this is a first impression.

The shut-off valves are solid and sturdy. I was spoiled when similar valves were included on a hose I purchased. Unfortunately, those were plastic & split after 1 season. So I bought these to replace the old ones. I would have given them 5 stars if not for the fact that they are difficult to switch on/off.

Price is good. It works ok but the lever is a little stiff turning it on and off. No leaks and works for me to water my garden. Hopefully it will last.
