I am very disappointed in this product. The bike cases I received were definitely not waterproof or even waterproof. They got wet after 5 minutes in very light rain. I live in a very rainy area and it is important to me to protect my bike seat from moisture. These cases don't. I still have them and only use them for sun protection and as a bike saddle.

The cases appear to be well made and fit well, the small storage pouch is handy, the drawstring cord is a great feature and the price for two was reasonable however no ads. . They are neither waterproof nor water resistant, in fact they leaked horribly the very first time we used them and completely soaked both seats. The covers were completely wet inside and out.

I ordered these as a birthday gift for my brother and he loves them. He lives in the city and doesn't have a car, just a bike. There is a small tear in his seat but other than that he is in good condition so he asked me to make him some blankets (I quilted). It was easier and cheaper to order and personalize them. I bought these to haul two mountain bikes every weekend and I'm surprised at how well they've held up. There's nothing worse than transporting your bike in the rain and having your butt all wet when you arrive. Did a test to see if the seat stays dry by spraying water directly on it. Lifted the lid and the seat was still completely dry. So I can say that the product I received is waterproof. I can't say how well it will hold up in the wind as I haven't used it in windy conditions yet and I'm not sure if the wind will affect its ability to hold the seat. dry out when it rains. I have a bicycle seat that I have had for many years. When I load my bike into a truck, I often rub the seat well on the handlebars, and over time I managed to tear the seat a bit. They are not waterproof! If it rains more than lightly for a long period of time, your seat will get wet. I've been using the same one for 2 months. He was on my bike the whole time. It covers a very soft and foamy seat that I wanted to protect from water absorption and long drying times.
