I hate getting kids yet another piece of plastic junk they’ll soon forget about. Got this for classmate’s spring birthday. Really cute. Gives a short term activity (painting, planting), and a longer term interest (watching plants grow and tending to them). Don’t know how the seeds & soil performed (since it was a gift).

Bought this for my grandkids and it turned out to be an enjoyable activity - especially during the pandemic! They painted the sides - although the paint does not come out looking as dark as it does in the pictures. It was still fun. The seeds germinated very quickly and we ultimately had three thriving plants. Lots of fun and every time they come over they check over out the progress.

This is cute, but it says they recommend rocks for drainage. I guess that would add too much cost for shipping so you must supply your own. Without them, you have to be very careful with how much you water. I think I killed some sprouts by adding too much, and killed more by not watering enough. I don't have a green thumb, but if you know what you are doing and can help your kid, this will probably be a good gift. The seeds do sprout, so my issues are user error.

We have 5 grandchildren ranging in age from 2 to 11. We gave all 5 of them one of these flower growing kits for Easter. They were a huge hit, even with the 11 year old grandson. The flowers have started popping through the soil already so the excitement continues! I highly recommend these all-inclusive flower kits.

I love doing art projects with my granddaughters. They decorated the plant containers and also got a chance to plant and nurture something they will get much enjoyment from.

The product itself is cute, and a nice project of you don’t want to get all the components separately. It was shipped in its box, which arrived dented and with a hole in it; with peeled tape and the shipping stickers over the product picture. This was supposed to be a gift. Even after carefully peeling off the shipping labels and replacing the tape, it looked like I pulled it out of a second hand discount bin. Not gift worthy.

This was so much fun for my 3 year old great granddaughter she loved sowing the seeds. So proud as they are already coming up in a week. She even helped with some of the painting.Perfect for small little hands!

I bought two so that it would have a more together look! I haven’t seen it but my granddaughter was so excited and pleased to receive the gift!

I gifted this to my 5 year old great niece for Easter. She loved it. She was so excited when the flowers started to sprout and couldn't wait to water them each day. I would buy this again.
