Not very strong

If you plan to buy these for resin mixing I would suggest using a larger and thicker stick. I bought them to apply resin and when mixing individual colors the sticks buckled and broke. This would probably work for mixing water based products like acrylic paints or just for water planning lol.

Pros
  • Smooth sanded birch with rounded ends
Cons
  • Only available in black

just the right size

I have used toothpicks (too small) and microbrush handles (still too small) for many years. I should have used that all along. Just the right size. They do exactly what they're supposed to do - mix a small amount of paint and thinner in a small bowl before pouring into the airbrush tray.

Pros
  • Measures 7" x 1/4"
Cons
  • Expensive

Ideal for small veneer work

These are wooden sticks. What else can one say other than they are really good for mixing small batches of something (usually pigment in small batches of paving material for me). They are smooth, strong enough and disposable. Essentially a large coffee stirrer. I will receive more. I bought a box of 10,000 popsicle sticks at auction and STILL bought them. I prefer them because they are longer and narrower than popsicle sticks and suit my needs better. Plus, they've been packaged in a handy…

Pros
  • Ideal as a hot wax applicator
Cons
  • A few little things
