I went back to the double-edged razor. In 50 years of daily shaving, I've tried all types of razors and come back because nothing gives me a closer shave than a double-edged safety razor. For a good shave you need a good shaving cream. My Palmolive is there. A small amount is enough to cover the face with foam. It leaves my face fresh after shaving. I want it to be sold in America. I've never used shaving creams like this, I figured it probably takes a lot to create a great lather. Oh surprise! I found out that no, I had so much foam left that I never did it again. You don't need much and can make a thick and smooth lather. Too bad we don't have Palmolive shaving cream anymore in America. I heard we had it in the United States at some point. Mine arrived from the UK and was worth the wait.</p>

Shaving cream that you apply with a shaving brush seems to be going out of style. I wasn't sure how to replenish my stash until I found this product (of course) at Revain. That's great! It seems to soften my beard very well and gives me a very comfortable shave and I only need one touch of the brush to get all the lather I need. The only downside is that this product is from the UK. So if you're running low, buy a few tubes. It will take some time to arrive.

Palmolive Shaving Soap for less than $4 a tube, probably the best soap you can buy if you prefer a bowl and brush shave. Smells nice and works just as well as my more expensive shaving soaps and creams. The only downside is the time it takes to get to your front door.
