Just what you need for quilting!

This mat is big and thick. An amazing pressing of patchwork blocks, crispy but not baked. I was worried that the mat looked like it had little waves, they disappeared. This is the best invention since the disk cutter! Use with a wooden pressure block for perfect seams.

Great abs mat

Love the size and thickness of the wool mat. It's lightweight and portable. This works great for retreats. It really locks the heat in the pillow so you get a great print through your quilts. I like to use steam, which gives the wool a sheep's scent. However, it will not be transferred to your project. It's a minor annoyance compared to the great click I get. I recommend this product if you don't mind the smell.

Good for folding TV tray

Wish I had a better, more durable table for this, but it sits on my TV tray and works great. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was because every once in a while there is a stain on my iron's pad. Funny, my fabric isn't stained or damaged at all, but the lining underneath has yellowed in the shape of an iron. I thought the pillow was permanently damaged/stained but I tried using a cold water washcloth, rubbed the stain and voila! It's deleted. This has happened to me twice.

I am completely satisfied with the results of the Dry Iron

. I've used the mat about half a dozen times and haven't had any issues with it so far. There was no smell and I didn't have a tan as others have mentioned. Since the pad is wool I use the wool setting on my iron and use a dry iron to see if it compresses my blocks as advertised. I am completely satisfied with the results of dry ironing. I just wish it was a few inches taller. 18" is fine, but it would be better if it was 14x18 as it would fit much better on a 12.5" block.

Not worth the money

Not worth the money. Mine turned brown where I iron. I contacted the company and they told me that "this was because I left my iron on for too long and the great thing is that you can just flip it over". Now it is brown on both sides. This is not because my iron was left on for too long, but because there was no fabric between the mat and the iron. When I iron the small squares of the quilt, the iron slides over the small square, but it also slides over the rug. Where it slides across the mat…
