Pampered Chef Stainless Wedger Slicer Review

This is one of the best apple slicers I've ever had. It is very strong and SHARP! I like the protective plastic cover that comes with it. And he cuts 10 apple slices instead of 8. (I don't know why that matters!) Haha. Get one! You will not regret it!

This is my second Pampered Chef apple slicer. I bought the first one used at a flea market 8 years ago. It's just harder to use. The new one looks like a copy of the first. I hope I will buy a replacement in 8 years at the earliest.

The blades are sharp and I know from experience that Pampered Chef apple knives are worth the price! I bought another apple knife (different brand) with plastic handles and it broke in less than a year. My roommate had this apple slicer and I really liked it so I bought one. Highly recommended!

This is a replacement for a lost one. I love that it makes 10 slices instead of the usual 8 slices for apples. It's pretty sharp and comes with a storage lid so you don't cut yourself. It's very durable and I use it almost every day and throw it in the dishwasher. It took almost a month to arrive which seemed excessive.

Much sharper and superior in every way to other Apple tools I've used. It comes with a plastic cap on the bottom so you can store it without cutting yourself or dulling the blades during storage. Pressing gently to set your direction and then pressing hard to go through the apple works really well in my opinion. Highly recommended!

I love apples, but they used to be hard to cut. Now I don't lose a single apple and the apple is cut through. It fits in my dishwasher bag and looks brand new every time. I would recommend cutting on a cutting board or sturdy melamine board as the blades are sharp. It comes with a protective cover for blades that I don't put in the dishwasher.

This apple slicer is very high quality and looks well made and will last a long time. There are two downsides, but both overlap in quality. First, the core size circle is a bit small, so it can sometimes be difficult to center and remove the entire core. It depends on the size of the apple and its shape. Second is the fact that even when used over a cutting board and lowered, it does not finish the cut cleanly, albeit very tightly. There is no base to lift the apple for the blades to cut…
