Great camera for spontaneous shots.

I've been a fan of Lumix cameras for many years and in many versions. It has more bells and whistles but is easy to use, especially for taking photos on the fly. It's thicker than previous versions, perhaps to house all the storage and features. This makes it a little heavier, but still within reach of a handy camera in your pocket or purse. I like that it has a 20x zoom. This is a new feature. And the wrist strap allows me to hang over railings and windows for interesting photos without…

Yes I would buy it again.

Just got back from Rome and Greece. This little camera takes amazing pictures with little effort on my part but helps me figure out the settings before the trip :) What impressed me the most was how great my pictures turned out in museums and chapels where flashes weren't allowed. It also compensates for backlit shots. In case you're wondering, it has a two- and ten-second delay for "selfies" that you can't see. There have been several comments about the camera being cheaply made. I was also…

So far, so good. for camera and photo

So far so good. It seems to have many features that we didn't know about. Woman seems to be satisfied so far. She still wished the camera would process the images faster after they were taken. I shoot with a DSLR and I can get more shots while she waits while the point and shoot cameras are still putting information on the map. I've tried to get her to switch to a big camera but she prefers small ones. At least it has a great zoom lens and panoramic photos. We've tested the new WiFi models with

The camera is fine. He takes photos and the photos come out.

The camera is fine. He takes pictures and the pictures turn out well. Every time I put it in my pocket, the mode wheel spins. This is an example where a traditional manual switch does not outperform an electronic menu. I ruined dozens of important shots because I put my hand in my pocket, pulled out the camera and snapped a picture not knowing the camera was in the wrong mode. It doesn't sound like much, but having to look at the mode dial every time you turn on the camera is annoying. The…

Excellent low light performance.

I've only been using this camera for a few days, but my top priorities have been better low light performance and more zoom than the Panasonic DMC-TZ3 I'm currently using. So far I haven't been disappointed. I shoot most of my shots indoors (birthdays, concerts, graduations, etc.) so bright, low-light shots are important to me. So far the results are not impressive. I couldn't believe how bright the pictures looked even without the flash. I took the same shots with the TZ3 and they came out…

Lumix quality brings me back.

I owned several Panasonic cameras that showed and recorded simultaneously and a mini mirror system with 4/3 interchangeable lenses. But last time I decided to try Canon aiming. It worked for a while, had touch controls, meaning you keep tapping and re-tapping, messing up the screen. A few days after the 1 year warranty Canon had a black spot on the screen and it would cost $135 to fix so I bought this camera for about $180, it had the best zoom, it uses switches instead of a touch screen. good…

Nice update for the Panasonic Lumix range

I bought this camera when it was in the Revain Gold Box for less than $110. I owed a debt of gratitude to previous Panasonic Lumix point-and-shoot cameras and thought they were great little outdoor cameras, capturing great color in sunlight but underwhelming indoors - even with flash. The DMC-ZS25 is a long-awaited update that finally delivers great indoor color. However, there are some minor downsides. First, if you're chasing a two-year-old trying to capture those moments in life with a…
