Our family has decided to move away from disposable batteries and go 100% rechargeable. We'll probably end up saving money, but more importantly, the less we throw in the trash, the better off we feel. If you feel the same way, this battery is for you. Eneloop is the best we've found for staying fully charged while in storage. It's hard to pick a battery off the shelf and find that it's 50% discharged during storage. I have to laugh but I love these batteries. I've been buying batteries for years because of the hassle of buying more and more AA batteries. The problem with rechargeable batteries was that they would run out of power between uses. For example, I like to use rechargeable batteries for my DSLR's external flash. Well, your main batteries would be dead due to exhaustion from not using them in half the time I needed them. It didn't do me any good. I decided to try these Eneloops and now they are…

These cells need no introduction. They're good for a range of tasks, from high-drain flashlights to slow-moving remote controls and wireless keyboards. The only place I don't have them is in my cordless phone as it spends most of its time charging and I don't want to overcharge or overheat batteries of this quality and price.
