Reliable phone, works with my KX-TA624. Attention, the mute button only works in hands-free mode. Can you think of a worse, more awkward UI (you think you're muted, the red light is on, but you can be heard, dah!)

the phone is very good. My only complaint is that I ordered and paid for a WHITE phone but received a cheaper black one. I decided to keep the black phones as I didn't want to wait for the swap.

You will read many cautions when purchasing this phone as it only works with Panasonic Advanced Hybrid Analog Phone System which requires a control unit for the phone. . I am using the second version of this Panasonic office phone system after upgrading it to the KX-TA824 control unit and I really like its functionality.

In June 2008 I installed a Panasonic TA-824 PBX at home. The system includes 7 KX-T7731 phones and 7 other phones from different brands.
