Type of review

Was a very good device until it died, less than a year and a half after I started using it. What a nonsense. There's absolutely no reason why a microwave shouldn't last 10 years or more; Planned obsolescence will not work on Panasonic as I will no longer be buying this brand.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance

Worst Panasonic and Revain purchase

Since I bought this microwave in August 2017 I have had to service it 3 times and the problem still persists. Panasonic forces me to send it back to the same workshops that send it back every time under different pretexts. It works a couple of times, then the power goes away. I've probably used it ten times since I bought it. Worst purchase from Panasonic and Revain

It had a good range of functions and good handling.

Bought to replace another microwave that died after a long life. It had a good range of functions and using the knob to set the time was interesting. Worked fine for 4 days then the time setting knob died. Without them, the microwave is practically useless. Then I discovered that there seemed to be no way to contact Panasonic support over the phone and online chat was only available 8am to 5pm EST. That is totally unacceptable these days. I returned it and bought a different brand to replace it

IT'S BUMMY! PANASONIC customer service is HORRIBLE!

ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE! Inside this microwave is a tiny piece of cardboard, literally as thin as a sheet of paper, that cannot get wet. This part was destroyed after 1 month of use. So how do you wipe the inside when there's food on it? Panasonic support lady was rude and mean and told me never to get a replacement they sent wet. INDEED? They told me this tiny piece of cardboard is used to protect the electronics inside the oven! After they sent me a replacement I put it on and used the microwave…

Very disappointed :-(

I have had a Panasonic inverter microwave for almost 7 years and I love it, but it started making noise when it was turned off and I don't trust it anymore. This led me to I bought this new cyclonic inverter microwave I know it gets good reviews but the quality has dropped compared to previous models the buttons are no longer chrome plated the front door is not perfectly aligned and they are... burns my food like hell at all sensor settings when i set it up for ground beef and cooked a…

Best of the best after comparing the use of three

After using three different microwave ovens, including those rated "Best Choice" by the NY Times "Wirecutter" and recommended by Consumer Reports - Panasonic 2.2cu. The .ft 1250W unit is by far the best, especially the inverter technology: the ability to choose - real - percentages of power (unlike all the others who "fake" percentages and actually "full" use full" as a means of controlling output temperature, there is a big difference! Panasonic also has logical and finger-friendly buttons…

Terrible warranty

Bought this microwave 8 months ago. There are only two in my family. Beginning with the first week, the heating cycle was paused and all eights were displayed on the display screen. I've found that if I turn off the device, wait a few seconds and turn it back on, it reboots and works. However, it only got worse. Finally, less than six months later, we had serious operational problems. We could only use it for popcorn or to heat water. Two months later, he refuses to perform any functions for…

That's big! on tabletop microwaves

I did a lot of research, read reviews etc before clicking on this. To be honest I didn't want a microwave that big, but it seemed to be the only microwave I found that cost less than $400. either way, it didn't have bad reviews in the one-star category, at least on the Best Buy website. One of the reasons I say this is that I've noticed that reviews of this unit on Revain appear to be using a different model number. Take a look for yourself and I think you'll see that there is something…

To me . . . PANASONIC NN-SN966S = GOOD, KENMORE 79399 = BETTER

2018-06-13-122924 In 1987 I bought my first microwave for $350. It was a KENMORE 7218783580 microwave oven and it has worked flawlessly from 1987 to the last week. No blown bulbs or anything like that. . . until last week. The plastic part in the door failed and the locking mechanism stopped working. A part needed to repair the lock is not available, and repairing the existing lock did not seem prudent, so the search for a new microwave began. NN-SN966S as a replacement for my trusty KENMORE. I
