This unit can support some weight. Once you bend it to your liking, it stays there. I only use it to hold the HT, but if I wanted to, with an extra plate this thing could hold the HT and two mobile radios.

It was purchased to replace the factory mount that Panavise offers as the factory mount does not work with their 99ft Jeep because we upgraded their stereo for Christmas. The construction looks like it will get the job done, very solid and stiff yet adjustable.

This is a nice addition to the Rams iPad mount. I use them to make iPad stands. It's very hard work, which I mean doesn't come cheap. It allows infinite adjustments for device positioning but stays where it's set. Remember you get what you pay for. I got this at Revain for a good price.
