They are exactly as described. They are very strong, hold up well and take up a much smaller width than traditional plastic skirt hangers. They are a little tight, only 11.5 inches wide, meaning the skirt either hangs well at the edges or needs to be pleated (I wear a size 4) so they are not suitable for plus size clothing. If they were wider they would be perfect!

4/5 stars for these hangers. They are good for the price. Pros: They are pretty strong. They hold up my husband's heavy work pants very well. Clips slide to accommodate different clothing sizes. Cons: The hook doesn't rotate and it's not very high. I tend to hang things on the door frame and they are not suitable for that as the hook is so short. The rubber pieces at the ends come off easily. All in all I would buy them again and recommend them for the price.

The clips pop out of the ends too easily and it's PITA to put them back in - there has to be some kind of stopper in the metal because the little black ends hold the clips not on the pole. I like and need them so I use them but I had to throw away 2 after building the thing to keep the spring closed. Putting the clips back into the pole is too much work! They're almost disposable :-( but they do what they're supposed to do - hold my pants. With this little change in MFG, they'll be 5-star…

These hangers are just about ok. I gave them 3 stars because they do their job and the clips are good and strong enough to hold heavy pants and jeans. But the metal is so thin! It's not the thick metal bar used in hangers that I'm used to from a retail store. I use them and I really don't expect them to break. But they seem cheap to me. (They WERE cheap actually, so I guess you get what you pay for!) Overall, they'll get the job done and seem solid enough if you're working on a tight budget…

These hangers came with a broken clip. After untangling them the first time I had two broken clips. While the frame itself is solid, the mechanical parts of these hangers will have you creating new scoldings. Metal clips with rubber clips look great but break very easily. They don't keep a pair of men's denim shorts or women's denim capris - better for the lightest garments like swimwear. They become confused and difficult to work with. They are also much shorter than the average clip hanger…
