Great packaging. The product feels solid and the etching is of good quality. I can't wait to give it to my father-in-law.

I was expecting it to be the size of a large spoon. In fact, this is only the size of an ordinary teaspoon. It would be much better if it was a little bigger.

I wrote to a colleague about this issue but no reply. If I missed your answer I will correct this review. The inscription is barely visible and not centered. Not a big gift.

I loved this gift for my dad who eats about a pint of ice cream every night. Remember this is a regular sized tablespoon. My only wish is that it will be a big spoon.

I was expecting something bigger from the "shovel" label. It is very small and it is so difficult to even read the words engraved on the spoon. It's embarrassing to give away.

The wording on the spoon is bad. You couldn't even tell the first word meant "Daddy". It was supposed to be a Christmas present but after seeing how bad it was I sent it back straight away. Don't waste your time/money!

This item is approximately the size of a teaspoon. The engraving "Dad's Ice Cream Spatula" sounds like it's an item the size of a tablespoon or more. VERY disappointed - not what I would call a "shovel" or "ladle" (as another suggested engraving says). Take the time to read the questions and answers. I only did this after receiving the item and reading the reviews.
