This is an inexpensive alternative to the "genuine", more expensive Permagenta. I was able to install the printer, which is not possible with the thicker Permagenta layer. Takes paint and ink well.

I do calligraphy and illumination. It's just as good as the expensive bee bread I bought from another seller. Totally buy more of this stuff.

This paper was used in lanterns as a light diffuser. They let a lot of light through, scatter well and create a very natural feeling. Consistent quality, flexible yet stiff enough to hold its shape; I was even able to sew them together without a trace of tearing. Another yellow lantern in the picture made of 2 layers of paper.

As a professional calligrapher, I have bought parchment paper for many years, but it always has a crumpled surface which worries me. I tried it and found it to be the perfect solution. It retains just the right amount of transparency that is so beautiful in parchment, yet has the strength of card stock to allow it to lie perfectly flat.
