Let's get down to business. This product is NOT compatible with your new 3DS XL. In this video I'm showing my New Nintendo 3DS XL (you can tell it's a 'new' model by the logo on the back and the C-Stick inside) and it's nowhere near the same size. If you're really looking to replace the stylus for your new 3DS XL, look elsewhere.

Official Nintendo pen that fits perfectly. But make sure you buy the right pen for the right DS! This is perfect for my >New Nintendo 3DS XL<. Make sure you know which DS you have (note the "new" in my name, that's my real name for some stupid reason) so you don't make the wrong choice like some do!

I keep fumbling with the stylus in the slot until it slides in so easily it just falls out. It's the exact same one that originally came with the new 3ds XL and it fits exactly as it should. As for the negative reviews, accuse Nintendo of calling their console "NEW 3DS XL". I understand how this can be confusing for some people.

Does the job but is not an original replacement. I purposely paid extra for this because it was advertised as a stock replacement but it doesn't fit the unit like a stock replacement. Luckily I have a case that fits the stylus, otherwise I'll probably lose it again. In general I am disappointed. I would just order the cheap ones if I knew it was a genuine replacement for the original.

I read so many reviews to buy this stylus and I tell you, reading is the key! People who say it didn't work for them didn't read the seller's description or other reviews that differ from theirs. Like all the other reviews below me, I would like to stress that this stylus fits the NEW 3DS XL, I might add, and if it doesn't fit perfectly then you don't have a *NEW* Nintendo 3DS XL. Really easy. This pen fits perfectly in the compartment as if it were original. Easy to use and serves its purpose
