Parts Express Socket Unlock Circuits Review

Used to install modern halogen headlights on an old car. The device was connected as follows: pin 87 - yellow #14, pin 85 - white #18, pin 86 - black #18, pin 30 - blue #14, and pin 87a - red #14. I have the Pins changed to something more understandable for me: pin 30 red, pin 85 black, pin 86 blue and pin 87 yellow. (I didn't need pin 87a) and installed it.

A great way to install two relays if that's all you need. If you need more than two, there are other modular options. Why all relay sockets come with short wires that need to be spliced I will never know, I buy the plugs that come with the socket in bulk and run the wire from the relay to the device without splicing, I wish they would simply supply a plastic holder plus then connectors 14-18g for the start leads and 10-12g for the source and load leads.
