Temperature switch failed twice

Relay and wiring OK. The problem is the temperature sensor. I have now bought 2 and both switches just stopped turning the fan on.

Pros
  • Excellent design
Cons
  • No instructions

Circuit breaker doesn't fit

had to change the circuit breaker from this kit for another type, this doesn't work, my truck overheated 5 or 6 times, I was able to hit the breaker with something and the fan started spinning again ; I even checked the load with a meter and there was no reason for the breaker to trip, be careful

Pros
  • Absolute legend
Cons
  • So so

The set was complete, very good price.

We installed this in a race car to allow the car to automatically turn on the electric radiator fan when needed. The on/off temp is about 8 degrees hotter than what our dash shows, but it works great and saves our rider from having to remember to turn on the switch and also saves battery if we leave the fan on after a race .

Pros
  • Great value for money
Cons
  • Reliability

seems to work best in spares

Works but had to buy a new relay because what was in the box always turned my fan on even when the truck was off. There are spelling mistakes in the instructions, which appear to have been typed by someone who doesn't speak English very well. I also made my own changes to the wiring, tk. There was no point in heating the wire to the temperature sensor if it didn't require power to operate. Minor hiccup but it's cheap and you get what you pay for.

Pros
  • Great for a small house
Cons
  • Null

Good price good for motor Radiator fan motor

Very basic, for the price I'm not complaining. Couldn't believe the sensor screwed right into the intake manifold on my Nissan Z24. Put some pipe sealant on the threads and will fit like an original part. It's a kit though, just a switchable ground. So if the sensor fails, your fans will too, and you'll be in trouble. I connected a simple on/off switch + extra ground to the sensor wire so the switch can be bypassed if needed. great kit for little money

Pros
  • Lots of positive vibes
Cons
  • Expensive

Insufficient cable cross-section even for 30A, let alone 50A.

The wire diameter is too small to support even a 30A fan. The relay also appears light and thin. Like I bought it on eBay. If you run 30 amps or more through this wire, it will melt and cause a fire. I like that it includes a 30 amp switch instead of the 50 amp switch it should be designed for. The starting current is different than the running current, but you'll still be very low if you look at a fan that can run 30, again it's supposedly rated at 50 amps.

Pros
  • Excellent fit for me
Cons
  • Quality

I bought this kit to upgrade my F100 to an electric fan. At first I hesitated. I installed this suspension about 2 years ago. I have driven my F100 about 12,000 miles and have had no problems with this suspension. I would like to make a suggestion: the circuit breaker included in the kit is not a UL listed component. I would suggest purchasing a Bussman circuit breaker along with this item. The circuit breaker is the only reason for the 4 star rating. To update. About 3 months ago I modified…

Pros
  • Doping 🔥
Cons
  • I vaguely remember
