Well, what can I say. Very cheap for this memory, but it still justified the hopes. Works in ganged mode 24 hours a day and there are no problems. A good model for not a lot of money! Pros below: 1. Memory is fast. 2. Timings at this voltage (1.5V) were changed to 9-9-9-24 without problems. 3. Cold. Doesn't need refrigeration at all. 4. Works in Dual-mode (I personally have 4 such bars) and there were no memory-related failures. Cons below: It can't be overclocked by a single hertz at all…

Memory works great - beware Windows 7 Home Premium limited memory

I had a false start at first because I didn't fully use the memory. user error. The BIOS recognized the full 32GB (4 x 8GB sticks), but Windows 7 Home Premium showed "32GB (16GB available). Voltage, resetting the maximum memory allocation in msconfig, even pulling the CMOS battery from the motherboard .After an hour of swindling, I found that Windows 7 Home Premium limits you to 16GB of internal storage.Micro$oft will no longer allow you to upgrade to Windows 7 Pro which didn't have this…

Well while it lasted

I bought one of these joysticks a while back and decided to buy another one to match. The first time they sent the wrong flash drive (received 4GB without a heatsink, I ordered 8GB) so I asked for a replacement. The replacement was the right size, but after about a month of use, I started getting memory errors and blue screens. Switch memory to a new machine and run memtest86+, it crashed almost immediately. I restarted the Kingston memory card I had and no problem. I decided to try an old…

16GB and no regrets! ;-)

For the money I think this is the best deal on PC3-12800 RAM. I've added (2) 8GB sticks to use a different brand (matching specs) of the existing 8GB on my home/light gaming PC - overall I have no complaints and no issues. If you have the slightest idea how to safely identify and manipulate things (I'm a gearhead, an IC for life) then this is a great idea for a cheap upgrade to an aging PC. With that said, 16 gigabytes and I'll probably buy more. Cheap insurance to keep your aging desktop…

Do not buy cheap computer and accessories

I bought 3 sticks of their RAM because I needed a lot for my work. This was normal for two days until he died suddenly; now my computer seems to stop posting and definitely fails to reach the BIOS even though it turns the fans and peripherals on and off. My computer stays on but gets sluggish. Going back to the RAM I used before, it still doesn't reach the BIOS no matter what DIMM slot I put it in. True coincidence if it wasn't RAM I have to say I've now spent $75 on RAM which is probably…
