Good for the price.

Had to enable xmp for RAM to work on 2666. Check your mobo, most supported speeds can only be reached in BIOS/UEFI via xmp profiles.

RAM module not detected, at least 8 gigabytes left

This product seemed good out of the box, but within a month I was seeing some performance spikes in my system, enough for me to reset everything from the bios settings To investigate To find out, I found that this stick that I added to support my other stick I was using was not being recognized. Fast forward a few days and I had a chance to take it to one of my networking classes. There, the readings from the test kit indicated that it was faulty. So I don't know of any other experiences with…

So it also works in pairs, not 2666MHz.

That's why they added the name as 2666MHz meme when the part number is actually 2666. But for the price it's not worth it for dd4 mem. If you have Ryzen or any AMD motherboard, you can overclock the 2133 bus with Intel XMP. However, this is not the same for AMD. The official maximum is 2666MHz at which the Ryzen memory controller is guaranteed. Above this frequency, overclocking territory applies. for AMD motherboards. So these chips are clearly NOT 2666MHz. I also sent them back which I paid…

Great memory for the price!

Bought a kit of 8GB (2x4GB) Viper Elite 2666 MHZ RAM (PVE48G266C6KGY) to use on my Asus ROG Strix B450 Gaming MB with Ryzen 5 2600 OC at 4GHz. My original 3rd party RAM failed so I sent it in for RMA and bought it to use until I can get a replacement RAM. -17-17-17-36). According to Thaiphoon Burner, this is SpecTek (Micron) Single Rank (A Die I believe). Overall I am very impressed with this RAM kit and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a good RAM kit at a reasonable price to

Excellent value for money and quality. Outstanding performance

Just assembled my new computer, 16GB (2x8) connected to my MSI B360 Gaming plus and I5-8400 and 512GB WD Black M.2 with Windows 10. Works fantastic! The only thing I had to do was go into the mobo settings and enable XMP to make the memory run at up to 2666MHz otherwise the RAM would run at a slower speed. Highly recommended purchase and for people saying memory is running slower check your mobo and cpu as it may not be a product related issue if your mobo or cpu doesn't support OC RAM it just…

Great memory for the price!

I bought an 8GB (2 x 4GB) Viper Elite 2666MHz RAM kit (PVE48G266C6KGY) to use on my Asus ROG Strix B450 Gaming MB with a 4GHz Ryzen 5 2600 OC processor. My original RAM from another manufacturer failed so I sent it in for RMA and bought it to use until I can get a replacement RAM. This RAM easily overclocks to 2933 with the same timings as the XMP 2666MHz profile (16-17-17-17-36). According to Thaiphoon Burner, this is SpecTek (Micron) Single Rank (A Die I believe). Overall, I'm very impressed…
