💇 Volumize and Style with Paul Mitchell Extra-Body Sculpting Gel Review

I love this gel! I have fine short hair that is straight too! This gel helps my hair hold curls. (I use a curling iron, old school girl) I still have to use hairspray like I always do, but now this combo really lasts all day! Even when it's wet, even when I'm sweating! Love the color of the gel, the light scent, the way the bottle looks on my vanity and the ease of use of the pump! I will order it again!

I bought it thanks to all the reviews. I've been using Paul Mitchel's Super Sculpt Glaze for most of my life. It's lightweight, goes great with my curls and doesn't dry them out. However, this product dried out my hair (after you applied it) and left white marks all over it, even when I reduced the amount. This product has a very thick consistency, my curls say NO

Product originally purchased from a salon and has since purchased here twice. It's awful and like glue. Not the same! No matter how little I use, I can't get it out of my hair. It makes a mess. It is also difficult to wash hands after use. I'm pretty sure it made my hair brittle and fell out. Stopped using it and got a lot better. But now I'm stuck with a nearly full bottle of this stuff.

My hair is very thick and thin like fetal hair. When I style my hair without this product, it takes on a helmet shape within the first 1/2 hour of styling. This formula has transformed the texture of my hair and helps maintain my style without making my hair frizzy - it blows in the wind but regains its shape after a gust. I don't feel like using Aqua-Net hairspray.

I've been using it for years and this is my favorite product. I can't find it in regular stores anymore. I originally bought it because it was the only gel in the store that said it was cruelty free and never tested on animals. I like the new pump. It's bigger in packaging, taller and less easy to store BUT I get just the right amount and waste less product. In general, a win!

I specially order a dispenser bottle in my salon and have been using it for 6 years. When I saw it on Amazon I decided to buy it because of the price. While it worked well, it wasn't the same as what I get at the salon. It worked well enough for me to use up the whole bottle and gave me some decent curls, but it didn't give me as much volume as what I was using.
