I am a professional dog walker and use this belt EVERY DAY. This is salvation. It fits a regular sized water bottle (I use standard Dasani bottles and just fill them up). The water bottle can be used on both sides, depending on whether you are left-handed or right-handed. There are interior and exterior zippered pockets. The water bottle holder was a bit small for my small 21 ounce water bottle. Technically it fits and the holder has a great cord for security, but since my bottle was a bit taller and protruded more at the top it was off center. It wobbled a lot when running so I adjusted the waist belt to the lowest setting but it is very difficult to adjust and you won't be able to do it while running.
