This jacket has a really poor quality zipper which tends to open from the bottom up which takes a lot of force to zip it back up properly. It also has no pocket and fits very tightly under the armpits. I wouldn't buy any other.

I love this Izumi cycling jacket. It's really easy to wear or carry around and very eye-catching on the go. I like the slim fit. I live in Sun Cal and the weather here really isn't as cold as other parts of the US so I don't need to wear a lot of layers of underwear. I'm 6ft 175lbs and ordered a medium size and am very happy with the fit. If you need to wear more than two layers of underwear, you should choose one size larger.

Driving through the gorge in light rain, driving down in heavy rain, being caught by the rain. I got soaked everywhere I wasn't wearing this jacket. I was wearing "waterproof" cycling shorts. The jacket is light enough for those early morning summer walks and light enough to be rolled up into a small bundle and stowed away when it's warm! This is a really great running jacket. I've done a few outdoor, warm and cool weather runs and a few races with it. It breathes but doesn't let wind through and a pretty decent amount of moisture. The only strange thing is that, at least for me, the sleeves are disproportionately large in relation to the chest size. The chest fits me perfectly but the sleeves are too big. I think it's easy to describe: Izumi pear is amazing! The fit is spot on and keeps me incredibly warm and visible which is always a problem on the morning commute. As for heat AZ doesn't get very cold but wherever you go 35 degrees is 35 degrees and this has kept my upper body comfortable now I need a solution for my fingers.

I bought 2 jackets including this pearl Izumi. The jacket is very thin (compared to Gore-Tex which I also bought from Revain). However, my biggest problem is the delivery time. My Revain orders usually arrive in 3-5 days. not these 2 that I bought especially for a bike trip in Asia. In fact, it reached my US address after departing and reaching its destination. I use this jacket every day cycling to and from work. It keeps the wind out and keeps me dry even on rainy days. It's very light and breathes well. I couldn't be happier with this jacket.
