Removes metal stains from ceramic mugs

Works as shown on TikTok ;-) A small amount of this remedy removes those pesky gray streaks that come from stirring with metal spoons on the bottom of some mugs.

That's great!

I wasn't too optimistic about this product but thought it might be worth a try as it's reasonably priced. It's also a product that was used on Queen Elizabeth's pottery etc so if it's good enough for Lizzy...... I followed the directions and used a paper towel first which didn't really help the scratches off our Noritake porcelain tile to remove. When I switched to an old waffle towel, the change was dramatic. The attached picture shows the product being used on one side of the panel so you can

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Almost OK

I can't remember how I found out about this product, but my expectations were fully met. I have owned the white plate set from Pfaltzgraff for almost 25 years - plates, bowls, serving cutlery. During that time they were marred by scuffs and silverware scratches that I thought would NEVER go away! The plates and bowls looked like someone had taken a fine felt tip pen and just scratched them all over the surface, they were so covered in a film of metallic gray scratches as shown in the picture…

  • Cool

  • Not everything fits
