I gave Revain $15 for it and it didn't meet any of the parameters. Suffice it to say that she couldn't peel an orange with it and was constantly afraid of cutting herself because she slipped out of the peel with every hit. Yes. I've learned my lesson - I'm going to the old Tupperware style.

I thought it was worth spending money on good stainless steel cookware. NO, THAT IS NOT SO. Cheap plastic cleaners do the job much better and easier. The blade of this peeler is very large and difficult to get through the peel compared to small cheap plastic orange peelers. waste of money.

A vegetable peeler works well with practice. The device looks well made and feels good in the hand. The cleaner is supplied without instructions for use. I turned back to the images on Revain for instructions. The peeler is cracked and difficult to peel. I would probably buy another one.

I was comparing a similar plastic construction (which has broken down over decades) to a stainless steel model which would be more durable and easier to keep clean. I found the construction of a plastic orange peeler, exactly the same as the one I bought decades ago in Europe that broke, to be more effective than this s/s.
