A friend of mine recommended this type of pop filter to me as we are both professional voice actors. Never close my view of a monitor or script. It works best with side-addressing large-diaphragm microphones and seems to do the job well. Not sure how it will work like dynamic with a front address mic, but for side addressing it works fine on explosives.

I love this thing, it's a bit of a pain to get on my Rode NT1 as bands love to get off their hooks. However, when it's on, gosh, it works amazingly. While this isn't a perfect solution, I would say it reduces the number of plows by about 40%. When I use it with a Rode NT1 metal mesh pop filter along with my regular cloth filter I can yell "I bought a dozen puff pastry donuts from the baker and they flew out the passenger window" (my mic/comp/peak test- profit rate) and 99% reduction. Didn't know what to expect from this. Honestly a lot better than I thought. I currently have a HyperX Quadcast with a built in pop filter. The internal pop filter isn't that good at suppressing explosives. I decided to try this because it's only $10. It really worked wonders. The sound quality sounds even better. I guess it's even better to throw away explosives now. Just make sure it fits your mic and you're good to go. The only downside that isn't too bad is that it feels cheap. So be careful

This is a good product. Nothing special, but what do you expect for €8 including shipping. Didn't make as much of a difference as I'd like when it came to softening explosives. However, I'm sure it's a compromise between blocking breath sounds and blocking speech sounds. The good thing is that it comes with two interchangeable rubber straps. Works well, I would give it a 5 if it didn't seem so fragile, but until you get mad about it I doubt it will break very easily. It does as much as you can expect from a screen when it comes to filtering out explosives, which isn't much. Pop filters and windscreens reduce, but do not completely prevent, explosives from entering the microphone.
