Love this for my 100 gallon outdoor pond! It easily filters lots of dirt and fish waste and has worked 24/7 for several months. It is very easy to disassemble and clean using a hose with a spray attachment. Its only fault is that if the fountain head is not thoroughly cleaned and some of the holes become clogged, the increase in pressure can cause water to be shot out of the pond, reducing water level significantly.

The pump works well. Just be ready to replace it often. I’m on my fourth unit in roughly 10 seasons. I say season because I’m in MN and only run it five months of the year.As I said it works well while it lasts. It’s made of mostly molded plastic and not very durable. Mine have lasted for sometimes as little as one five month season to as many as three. But it will break. They always break.I can recommend it as long as you don’t mind needing to replace it fairly frequently.

I have the 200 model. I just set it up in pond, and it immediately blew off the fountain parts where it meets the pump. It is not a snug fit. After trying several times, and losing some parts in pond, I drilled a tiny hole through connector and pump outlet, and put equally tiny screw in there to hold it onto pump casing. That solved the problem. Second issue is that I was disappointed it didn’t have a handle to lift it out of pond. The others do, and it would have been nice to have for mine…

Have purchased many of these over the past several years. They work great until they don’t. No warranty service and no replacement parts when pump goes bad. Website says parts available on Ebay, however, pumps for sale are not interchangeable. Frustrating to have to go and buy a whole new unit when only the pump stops working. I imagine I could even change the impeller and get it working again, but alas no way to get just a replacement piece as there is with other manufacturers.

I ordered this five and one pump because I needed a UV filter as well as a better filter system. I liked that it had three different types of fountain heads. Since I have had this filter my pawn has it rained its self completely multiple times thankfully not killing any of my fish. This is because the fountain has are cheap and do not work correctly. The fountain piece that makes the spray pattern clogs easily and fairly often with green slime. This causes the spray pattern to be incomplete. Only way to clean it is to get in the pond or remove the entire unit from the pond and clean. Not entirely happy.

Works great. My only wish is that it put out more water. I’m so used to using chemicals to stop algae it’s great to have a non chemical option with a Labrador retriever that likes to get in the pond! It completely stops algae. So worth the money.
