love it the only thing that gives it 4 stars is that it's a little wrinkled. There are dents and scratches but nothing critical.

I don't mind if the camera is dirty or something, but light meter and shutter speed don't work! And it is not mentioned in the description box! FRAUD OR WHAT!?

It was fantastic at first, but then the light meter went wrong. I tried changing the battery but that's not the problem. I had to buy a new camera for the course because it was cheaper than repairing it.

I bought this camera for my photography class and it worked great until about the last four weeks of the semester. My professor was never able to find out what was happening to him (maybe the shutter got stuck?), but while he worked, he worked well. That did most of the work.

I bought this camera to take pictures and the product details said there was a little problem with the light meter but oh my god WAY off. I have to hope and pray that my photos will come out the way I develop them. This is frustrating because I don't have the money to waste movies that come out BLANK. They turned on another camera so maybe I'll try and see.

This is a fun camera for me. I bought the Pentex ME over 40 years ago and have used it all over the world including archaeological sites and the military. It finally died in the late 1990s and parts for it were impossible to find. I missed this camera. Now I have a replacement. The camera I just bought looks almost new and shows no heavy signs of use. I also have a couple of modern Nikon SLRs, so this old Pentex is just for fun. Also, these MEs are rugged little cameras.
