Fantastic photos! for Point & Shoot digital cameras

So far this has been a great camera for what I need. If you're willing to take the time to read the instructions on your computer, everything you need to know is there. Otherwise, just set the watch face to Automatic (after reading the basic instructions) and you'll be fine. The photos are great. At the moment the only major complaint is the one that's common with most cameras, which is that you can't see anything on the screen when the sun is directly behind you and all you can do is hope you…

Pros
  • Special offer
Cons
  • Hard to say

I got an A in my college photography course on an older Pentax K1000 before digital cameras became popular, and I did photography as a hobby when I was younger , but stopped taking pictures over the years because I found early digital cameras depressing. I bought this after not taking photos for many years hoping for a digital camera similar to my old one. Of course, using a digital camera is very different and nothing like my old camera, but if you like taking pictures with a good technical…

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Not as thick as other options

good camera suitable for point and shoot digital cameras

All my cameras were Canon (3, latest SX 130 IS) and I always thought there was nothing else. Canon has smooth cameras with very logical and rich menus, but I've never been able to shoot video indoors without focusing problems. It always lost focus and then regained it when there were clicks in the background. I thought I was, so I used focus (half button) and then AF lock. This camera doesn't lose focus in the middle of a video until you zoom in. Some here have said that the moon shot needs to…

Pros
  • Robust construction
Cons
  • Without automatic

Not bad for the money

Well P&S will hit but no DSLR. That was to be expected and I knew I would get it even before I bought the XG-1. I bought this camera to photograph nature while cycling as I need a decent zoom, by the way the Sony LCSU11 body fits the XG-1 perfectly. I use a 52mm UV filter to protect the lens. I did a lot of test shots and found the handheld stabilization to be almost useless at full zoom, I got a lot of blur. On a tripod in daylight I get good shots at full zoom, but Multi AF can capture a…
