🏠 Slim Line Housing by Pentek NPT Review

I like it but haven't used it yet? I would rate it higher but the specs said it was 21.5 inches, I ordered that but it's only 12.5 inches! Someone needs to double check when you write details about your products! This can be a serious problem in some cases if incorrect specification information is provided!

One of the two I bought was missing an o-ring which made it quite a mess before I found out. After buying an o-ring (Pentek 151121 OR-38 Buna-N o-ring for Slim Line housing) it now works perfectly. Others have mentioned the leak. The sealing ring is inserted into the slot in the pan (transparent part). If you have a leak, turn the pan upside down and shake it. The 4 inch o-ring should pop out.

I use this as a heatsink holder for my shop ventilation system. This works well for holding the wearer and being able to see the color of the dissipant. I made a stainless steel cage out of the radiator water filter to bypass the case for safety in case the case cracked or shattered to prevent dirt and dehumidifying media from going anywhere.
