🚘 Pentius PHB5872 UltraFLOW Cabin Air Filter - SUBARU Baja, Legacy, Outback - Quality Performance Review

It fits and works on my 2000 Subaru Legacy Outback. Instructions are included, but search YouTube for installation videos, it's much easier to follow.

Installed in '00 OB which had no filter so fitting is a bit fuzzy as I had nothing to compare to and the actual cabin filter housing is not very well designed. The filter itself does its job.

Perfect for my 2001 Subaru Outback. Ease of installation. Just a note - take a picture of the old ones before you take them out so you know how to fit the new ones back in. This will save you a few minutes and scratch your head a bit. or so I was told.

Does the job. The last filter set contained over 40,000 dirt particles. They were cheap and fit well. Much cheaper than off the shelf brands and if you prefer low levels of dust and pollen in the cabin they do well with regular maintenance without having to spend a lot of money on the dealer.

The filter is not white and does not have the mesh coating that my previous filter had. It also doesn't have the foam coating that keeps the smaller tongue from rattling. It appears to be the one with activated charcoal, but it's not listed. However, it looks better than my previous filter.

My car (2000 Subaru Outback) didn't have them fitted but there was room for them so after some work on the AC I decided to throw them away. They fit perfectly. Judging by the amount of dust and dirt that was in the empty slots when I opened up the dash to install the filters, they should definitely make a difference.

Arrived on time. My Outback didn't even have them installed! Piles of leaves, dirt etc where the filters should be. I installed them when the weather got warmer so I wouldn't use the air conditioner anymore. Since I didn't have any filters, I can't tell any difference either. I was hoping the filters would make the interior smell like flowers or something, but no!

This filter works great on my 2001 Subaru Outback wagon. The build seems good and is better made than other 3rd party filters I have used on my car. Overall, it's worth its $10. I still despise the painful process of changing that filter in my car, but that's on a Subaru. I have this filter under Subscribe and Save so it shows up every six months which is the recommended change schedule.
