Looks and feels good. Insert key out of place.

Pros:This is a nice looking, small keyboard. Simple and clean.Good key press feel.Cons:1) I ordered this PS2 keyboard for a retro project, however, it doesn't work for that project where an older ps2 keyboard will work. This keyboard works fine with my newer desktop ps2 port.2) The other issue I have is the placement of the "Insert" key on the bottom row. There is a (useless) "Pause/Break" key next to the "Delete" key where you would expect the insert key. I use Ctrl-Insert, Shift-Insert a lot…

Pros
  • muy manejable
Cons
  • The keys make a very loud clicking noise, which can be distracting and annoying

Very Poor Quality on my review.

Very poor quality, plus didn't fit to an adapter. Other old keyboard does fit to an adapterWaste of money and time That's my feedback.

Pros
  • Small size fits perfectly on desk top. Works just fine.
Cons
  • The keys are quite small, making it difficult to type accurately

This is a fantastic addition to a collection of Perixx keyboards!

Almost all my keyboards are Perixx. The full-size version. It's designed in Germany, and one of the best design decisions they've made is to get rid off the flippable stands other keyboards come with--to raise it higher. Perixx replaced those annoying things with a solid raise for the keyboard for easier typing. That design feature is in this product as well. This particular keyboard is not full-size, but smaller. It's especially useful when a keyboard is occasionally needed for a Raspberry Pi…

Pros
  • ‎Perixx Computer GmbH
Cons
  • The white color can easily become discolored or stained with regular use

Excellent - quality feel

My wife is very happy with her keyboard. She didn't want a numlock pad and this one was perfect. Good key spacing feel, responsive and much heavier and more solid than the Dell wireless keyboard it replaced. Being wired it doesn't lose any keystrokes like the wireless one occasionally did. Technical support in Germany was great, answered our questions right away. Did find out that the € symbol on the "5" key only works when it's set up as an international keyboard - no big deal.

Pros
  • ‎Perixx
Cons
  • The keys are not very responsive, requiring more pressure to type properly

Compact and functional

Obviously this is not meant to be a substitute for a full size keyboard for normal computer use. I use mine with a MiSTer FPGA setup. It is great for when you want a compact keyboard for limited use. It is small, flat, snd sturdy. The cable is plenty long. Works great for me.

Pros
  • Nice quality product, feels really solid.
Cons
  • The USB cord is relatively short, which makes it inconvenient if you need to position the keyboard a certain way

Nice keyboard, but too small for adult hands

We like Perixx products. They make the best ergonomic keyboards today. They have keyboards that are closest to the best keyboard series ever, the Microsoft Natural Keyboard Elite. This keyboard is a mini and is not ergonomic. They wired cable is plenty long. The design appearance is very good and the lights are in the upper left corner. The thing is that the width of this keyboard, along with it's standard old-school key layout, mean that an adult who is used to a full sized ergonomic keyboard…

Pros
  • EASY SET UP - Simple plug-and-play and does not require any extra drivers with a convenient 5'9-ft cable length that is long enough to reach the back of your computer even if it is located under your desk
Cons
  • There is no palm rest, which can cause discomfort during long typing sessions

I really thought I was done with PS/2 peripherals, until I got dragged back in with retro/vintage computing. While a full-sized Unicomp keyboard is what I normally use for those PCs, I wanted to have an extra (preferably small) keyboard for my test bench. For that, I thought I'd try the Perixx PERIBOARD-409PW Wired PS/2 Mini Keyboard. The Perixx is somewhere between a 60% and an 87-key, with the layout looking like an early 2000's laptop keyboard (or maybe a cut-down Media Center keyboard)…

Pros
  • ‎12.36 x 5.75 x 0.79 inches
Cons
  • The keyboard is not compatible with some older operating systems or devices

Defective out of the box

Maybe this is actually a good keyboard, but I received mine and the unit was warped, as in it would not lay flat on a flat surface. (All rubber feet present and accounted for.) Bad luck of the draw maybe, but I'm asking myself how difficult is it to produce units to the necessary specifications? Either way, very frustrating for someone who needed a PC compatible keyboard in the moment and someone who doesn't have lots of time to initiate a return, bring the product to the return site, and then…

Pros
  • Keyboards, Mice & Accessories
Cons
  • The cable is not detachable, making it difficult to replace if it becomes damaged

Failed to work. good for me

This keyboard was a replacement for an identical keyboard ordered shortly before. Neither keyboard worked in any way. I would not order this again. Another brand purchased later worked perfectly.

Pros
  • ‎PERIBOARD-409WU
Cons
  • The layout is not intuitive, with some keys in unusual positions

ok/usable keyboard, but not really quiet

This keyboard needs some debugging of the manufacturing process. It works, but it is not there yet.I recently switched to TKL keyboards, as I was not using the number pad too often, and wanted more space on my desk and a shorter flight distance to my mouse.I was thinking that this keyboard would be useful during conference calls, when I might need to type something. The main issue is that more than half of the keys make a loud and annoying slapping noise while typing, when they reach the bottom.

Pros
  • Nice Keyboard at a nice price
Cons
  • There is no backlighting, making it difficult to use in low light situations
