Outstanding paint tray! The idea book was great for kids! We have many character platforms, but they lacked the creativity to make their own without inspiration. Now they are working on changing some of the ideas to how they want them to look. Excellent goods!

I ordered this set in place of another similar set which was cheaper because it was listed as a 'two pack'. As I was about to write this review I saw another one saying it was NOT TWO PACKAGES and they are absolutely right. Only one set is included. I hope others read this before purchasing (unlike me). As for the product itself, my daughter loves to use it BUT you need frames for it which are not included in this set.

I've bought several Perler products and I really like them! I make pride pins and ran out of colors a while ago, so I needed real perler beads for my project. They are so cheap for the money you get and I'm really glad I have them :) (Please note the pins in the picture are the ones I made before with perler beads, exactly the ones same box along with some glow in the dark I found at my local craft store)

I've wanted to make some Perler designs for a long time but never had the necessary items (such as board, beads and wax paper (for ironing)), this kit gives you a good set of beads to start with and two lockable trays to start with which is very good value for money. The only downside is that the pearl shell can be difficult to open, meaning you can force it open. If you use too much force these beads will go everywhere, so be sure to remove ALL the tape while keeping it closed. :) I would also

I bought 2 Perler Beads in a pack with a bead booklet. When the package was opened, the original transparent film covering the product was torn sideways from top to bottom. No bead pattern book was included. I have to assume it must have fallen out as there was a huge hole in the side. I only gave 1 star as I bought it for my 4 year old son and 6 year old daughter. This Christmas we got to know about fuse beads. Where we were? This is a great activity for hours of fun. This set is convenient because all the colors are separated, which saves a lot of time without having to rummage around in a bucket full of different colors. My only complaint is that the darkest blue isn't actually a true dark blue. I only know this because we also had a bucket of pearls and there was a true navy blue in it. We LOVE Perler Beads. We also make some similar beados and quixels, but we really prefer Perler. I feel like they challenge my kids the most (in a good way) while these crafts are too simple/easy to make and extremely expensive. My 4 year old will sit forever creating his favorite characters like Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Minions.
