Loved her for 10 years.

They were perfect for my 10 year old to carry on with a little project when he gets bored. Funny animal patterns, go well with each other. Very cute, she loved these

Great for older kids

I bought this for a 4 year old. This is a great craft project for an older kid as the 4 year old said "This is NOT relaxing!" :-D But for an older kid it will turn out to be an excellent craft.

Not the best value for money in my opinion.

I assumed this box came with shaped templates because we bought another set with the same packaging. I should have read the description more carefully. This set contains two plates - no animal stencils - and a large double-sided sheet of animal stencils. Plus two bags of beads. I don't think it's very good value for money.

Does not include plastic animal stencils.

Lovely set and my girls love making animals with these beads but they were expecting patterns in the shape of each animal. Instead, there are just a few basic shapes (hexagon, etc.) and you follow a pattern to make an animal out of it. Works quite well but is a bit difficult for younger children. My 7 year old was fine but the 4 year old had a little harder time following the pattern.

Hours of fun!

My kids are crazy about Perler Beads and there are so many cute patterns in this set for them to create. They were very excited to try them and the instructions were easy for a 6 year old and an 8 year old. I find sorting beads by color very therapeutic. I bought a couple of split organizer boxes for this purpose and they really appreciate the split colors too. It would be nice if they came sorted by color but I have no complaints about any of the Perler sets or beads. This is a great activityโ€ฆ

Repetitive missing parts, this company doesn't deserve your business.

This is Perler's third order and I cannot express how disappointed I was that all three products were missing items. I thought there was once a unique thing, but all of their products? What a disappointment. This is a poor quality product that your store doesn't deserve. I contacted the company and received no response. Also, this set is not worth the money. All you get is a small amount of beads, instructions, and a pegboard or two. Other sets would have more beads and more perforated boards.
