🐾 Chinchilla, Hamster, Rat, Bird, Rabbit Large Aspen Wood Platform Ledge - Pet Metro [2 Pack] Review

My little boys love to climb and jump so I wanted to get them something durable but still fun. These platforms were perfect! Bucky and Steve spend a lot of time on and under them! The wood is very smooth so I was wondering if they would even slide over it, but I've never seen them slide even when jumping up or down. And the platforms even work with the C&C cage! 5 Stars!

These tabs are suitable for hamsters, rats and mice of all sizes. Gerbils live underground and gnaw on wood. The strips are very wide and give space. Finding safe wood for hamsters is very difficult. Most moldings are made out of pine or real wood, which happens to be pine. When bolting this platform on, always make sure there is a washer on either side of the bars. Costs money!

Very well made shelves! Good size, price and quality. Strong mounting screws. I recommend supporting the shelf with a small bungee cord underneath so they don't come loose over time (optional). (My Savic Plaza cage flexes a little on the sides, it's not welded on. I bought rubber bands separately to make it firmer). Tip: Keep the supplied rubber bushings and put them back on the screws after assembly!

Very well made shelves/ledges that fit in the small pet cage. These products are made of solid wood, sanded smooth, have strong books and wing nuts. I have shown this product in the photos along with the glass so you can see the approximate size. I've been looking for something durable for my Rhinelander rabbit for a long time. He likes to stretch and didn't have a large enough elevated platform. It is good that there are 2 pieces in one package. I installed them side by side to make one long shelf. He was cautious at first because each platform tilted slightly under his weight.
