Will not fit 2001 TRX400EX without modification.

The filter was too tall due to a tank leak and rubber seal. I used my old gasket and cut off the bottom of the filter. Haven't had a chance to try it yet, but it doesn't leak when turned off.

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • A newer model could have been chosen

Great for the price!

Perfect fit for my Honda trx250ex 01. The hose to the filter gasket does not fit the filter but it is possible to work without the gasket, the main and backup settings will still work and the filter will work. protects the carburetor. I had to reuse the valve seal tank, the one that came with the kit wasn't thick enough to seal. I used Seals All on the old one and it works great.

Pros
  • Hands free operation
Cons
  • So-so

So far a good alternative to the OEM part

Has worked well so far, like the other reviewer, the o-ring doesn't fit. The one that comes with it is flat and you need to get an o-ring from the dealer. Less than 1.00 so it's a really good deal. hope it lasts The only other point was the "eyelets" which help hold the screw in place and act as a washer of sorts, were a bit tight but other than that they fit well.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly

Didn't fit my 2000 TRX400EX because the filter screen is too long.

This does not fit my 2000 TRX400EX, I used the description before looking for the OEM part number and is not a replacement for 16950-HN1-003, the filter screen is too long reaching to the top. Reservoir. In addition, the rubber gasket that is supposed to seal the valve to the plastic container is too small and too thin and does not seal. You should measure the depth of your tank where the faucet or old faucet is installed to ensure the installation is correct.

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Cleanliness

Good replacement - parts

Worked for me. (Warning)-(New fuel tank costs more than 500.00) Don't try to unscrew the old one. The nuts are pressed into a plastic container. If you try to turn the bolts, the nut will turn in the plastic and potentially render the tank unusable. First drain any fuel from the tank and flush the tank to ensure no fuel remains. Grind the screw heads and remove the faucet from the tank. The rest of the bolt can now be easily removed from the nuts with a vise. Now rinse the tank and let it dry…

Pros
  • Great for a small house
Cons
  • Interval
