So beautiful with different grinding degrees

and you can choose the consistency of the grinding degree. You can tell it's salt by the white on the logo and the white on the bottom.

Pros
  • The best in its niche
Cons
  • Almost everything is beautiful

Doesn't grind salt on Salt & Pepper

I bought a pepper mill of the same model and I really like it. However, this salt grinder will not work properly regardless of the size of the salt. I cleaned the grinder thoroughly, but it just doesn't grind properly. I tried to contact support but they didn't answer at all, just crickets from them!

Pros
  • Done
Cons
  • Something else

Product not working

The product could not be made to work properly. I bought one, poured in peppercorns, could not grind. I returned it and ordered a replacement. The replacement came pre-filled with salt which grinds perfectly. But when we threw away the salt and added the peppercorns, again no grinding no matter what settings we tried on the product. Gave up after two tries and bought a $10 coffee grinder that works great.

Pros
  • Cool product
Cons
  • Security

7 inches is the perfect size

This salt mill is by far the best I have ever used. Other grinders I have purchased (including the most popular ones on Amazon) have not lived up to my expectations. This windmill is not only visually appealing but also highly functional. Just don't hold the bottom of the grinder when using, the bottom is for adjusting the grind size. I wouldn't recommend going for the shorter version as it gives less room to properly hold the windmill.

Pros
  • Lots of positive vibes
Cons
  • No power

Great salt mill for the picky chef

I've been using this salt mill for over a month now and I think it's a great choice and I'm very lucky to have my wife as a gift. It contains a lot of salt, it is very easy to change the degree of grinding of the bark it contains, depending on what you need for a specific use. I recommend this as a great product for anyone looking for a durable and easy to use kitchen salt grinder.

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Incredible piggy bank

Kitchen Basic: Salt Mills

If you have Le Creseuts, All Clads, Rösle, etc., this belongs in your kitchen. greater utility than their generic counterparts. I ordered a pepper grinder first, not this salt grinder, thinking I just need a pepper grinder. But I also use Brittany Salt and I've gotten uncomfortable using a tiny spoon for this. Both the pepper grinder and the salt grinder are easy to use and feel very heavy.

Pros
  • stylish and modern design
Cons
  • slightly wrinkled

Good range from fine to coarse, cap tends to loosen

All grinders of this type have the disadvantage that the brass nut at the top that holds the round cap in place is tends to weaken. The roughness scale at the bottom is continuous and also tends to move around a bit. It's also hard to tell what the actual setting is as the markings on the main body are a faint little dot. But these are minor flaws that are offset by the build quality. I would buy it again but I don't have to as it lasts forever.

Pros
  • Comfortable
Cons
  • Mostly ok but...

Good range from fine to coarse, cap tends to loosen

All grinders of this type have the disadvantage that the brass nut at the top that holds the round cap in place is tends to detach. Pros
  • Salt and Pepper
Cons
  • Not as thick as others

This is a coarse salt mill from Peugeot. Peugeot is known for its pepper mills. The Peugeot coarse salt mill does not work. Peugeot recommends using it with "gros sel séché" (coarse dry salt). Setting the grinder to 6 (you can choose the degree of grinding yourself) will give you a few drops at best. Forget 1 to 5, you don't get salt from the mill. This mill is very disappointing. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone.

Pros
  • Salt Mills
Cons
  • Big and chunky
