Made in France, this unique mill is 4-inches tall and made with beechwood. The Salt mechanism is made of stainless steel and is not sensitive to salt corrosion. The Peugeot salt mechanism is designed to grind cooking salt. To get the best out of your Peugeot salt grinding mechanism, you should use: salt with a diameter of 4 mm (3/16") or less; dry coarse salt: dry Sea salt or rock salt. Classic grind adjustment. The grind is adjusted by turning the knob: turn it clockwise (tighten) for a finer grind; counter-clockwise (loosen) for a coarser grind. Lifetime Limited on the mechanism and 5 years on the exterior of the Mill. Use a soft lightly damp cloth to clean.

Plastic parts are good for Pepper Mill

This is not the same as the picture. It is not marked with a P as described and has plastic parts inside. I ordered it instead of the new model because it was supposed to be all metal. There are several manufacturing defects, some of which permeate the character and some don't.

My favorite size Peugeot pepper mill with beautiful antique finishes. This is a grinder for life that looks and works great.

Plastic components for salt and pepper

This is not the same as the picture. It is not marked with a P as described and there are plastic parts inside. I ordered this in place of the new model as it needs to be all metal There are several manufacturing defects some of which are character borne some not.

Great little coffee grinders

Very cute, works great. Place one at each end of the table in an easily accessible place for my guests and an extra one next to the stove in an easily accessible place for the chef, which is me. I know there's a trend for big, big pepper mills but I like to go in the opposite direction of the trend and these little guys mimic the classic shape, plus the Peugeot logo impresses my (I guess shallow) friends the snobs famous brands are . I set them to a very fine grind and everyone seems to like…
