The product came with a defect, the bottom was broken and missing due to transport, the packaging is fine. The quality and lack of control over shipping goods in such conditions is disappointing.

I brought a set of these Peugeet salt and pepper shakers home from Paris. I love her. They are adjustable so you can make them natural or precise. My son loves to cook and he likes the set. Well I had no plans to return to Paris so I researched them on Amazon. My son now has a brown set just like mine and is very happy with it.

I gave this set to my husband for his wedding anniversary and he is very happy. They just sit fantastic on our dining table. The grinders came pre-filled with salt and pepper so I'll let you know if we have any problems after we fill them with our own. For the quality of the product this was an excellent purchase and price.

Obviously they are delivered in bulk. The grinders seemed to work, but the lack of a pepper grinder renders them useless. I would also advise extreme caution when going from coarse to fine tuning. They are worth every penny. I bought these as a gift for my wife and of course the whole family uses them but she keeps saying how much she loves them and can't believe we didn't have such quality grinders before. 9" is the perfect size for your hands. Anything else would be noticeably uncomfortable for most people. If you're thinking about them, stop thinking and get them, they're worth every penny.

The pepper in my set is broken. Grinds about 1/8 teaspoon of pepper, no matter how many peppercorns are in the container. I am very disappointed with both the quality of the product and the return/replacement process. Vendor and Revain will not help replace a broken shaker. For an 80 euro set they are definitely not worth the money. I would recommend buying the set from Williams Sonoma or wherever the warranty applies.
