I do this for a living so I'm not the kind of person who doesn't know what they're doing. The digitizer's touchscreen is pretty decent, but the glass was cheap and cracked easily.

Bought for repair from a professional electronics shop. All 3 digitizers had dead zones due to bad flex cables. I would not recommend this product to anyone as they are clearly low quality copies.

The tools inside were of good quality, love the tweezers and will keep them for other things. More tools than I've used, but we all work a little differently. I used a heat gun to start but only on one corner so I don't think you really need one, a blow dryer might do the trick. There are no problems with the screen, it has been working for a few days.

The screen was exactly what I ordered, I moved the home button to this screen and peeled off the backing already attached and I was done in minutes. It comes with a pair of very fine tweezers included in the set. (most kits don't) I bought another kit before (for the same price) and the other one was complete rubbish. This kit is well made and there are no surprises if you've ever done a repair like this before it's easy.

The ribbon cable has been folded so that it does not touch the shoulder holding the screen. This prevented the screen from being flush, rendering the adhesive unusable. As I struggled to bend the ribbon cable to fit, the digitizer began to fail due to tampering. I bought another version with pictures showing a better ribbon cable design and had no trouble installing it (although the adhesive was still lacking).

Product worked as advertised. It's not for installers, I would give it a difficulty of 6/10 with 10 being the hardest. The hardest part for me was removing the existing screen which shattered into pieces. Take your time, watch the YouTube video and it will work perfectly. If you rush, don't watch the video and disconnect, you're going to be in trouble. Took me about 30 minutes but if I do it again I'll probably be able to do it in about 15-20 depending on how badly the screen cracked.

Product arrived in good condition with no cracks that I could see on a quick scan. The screen came together nicely (removing the old one was a real PITA). Anyway, about an hour after installation I was hooked! I was so glad that my iPad was repaired and working again. This thing is just awful. After all the cables were reconnected I checked to make sure they worked before exposing the glue, everything looked fine. Unfortunately, after attaching it to the iPad, it stopped responding to touches. I asked for a new one and when I removed the first one I saw that the ribbon cable was indeed disconnected from the digitizer and also the entire digitizer had broken into a few small pieces when removed, unlike the OEM. a few days after installing the second sensory…

So this product is fully as advertised and makes a great replacement for broken digitizers on the iPad 6th gen. Basically, it offers a "like OEM" replacement. My son dropped a metal lunch box on his iPad and smashed the screen. Right at the point of impact was an incredible star-shaped crack, thousands of tiny pieces of glass. Some kept beaming. It was very difficult to remove and continued to break into smaller and smaller pieces even with two layers of high strength packing tape all around…
