Bought 2 months ago and liked it so much I bought a second one so I can record programs from 2 channels at the same time. I hate paying a monthly fee for anything, so I always set the VCR to timer record from the aerial. But it won't work after February. What no one tells you is that the transducer block doesn't allow this because the channel selection is done in the transducer, not the VCR. We bought this unit to replace our VHS video recorder for recording TV programs from the new digital radio waves. I bought this after I got a completely overhauled Philips DVR3575H whose drive no longer responded. Philips said they would send me another device.
