Cuts fast and tight

This razor cuts very fast and almost dry and even faster and nearer wet! It works much better than my 6 year old Norelco 3D Sensotouch razor, even though that old razor was way more expensive back then. Norelco appears to be improving again. I like that it can only be charged with a cable. You don't need a base unit. The design aesthetic is also clean and simple, unlike many other Norelco models that have unreasonable shapes and graphics. It also comes with a nice beard trimmer attachment…

This is a decent razor

I have used Norelco all my life. I have two, one for travel and one for home. I like this one as it comes with a charging dock. I also really like the trimmer. I used to like it when the trimmer was built in. The only thing I liked is that this is a really well built heavy duty trimmer and it's even better than the old built in one. I don't know why Norelco doesn't sell other accessories like a nose trimmer. You can easily, and everything is suitable for a razor connection. Missed opportunity…

Pros
  • Good workmanship
Cons
  • For the old

Blades last 30 days

Norelco used to be a good company. I have been using Norelco razors for several decades now. Recently their products have expired. The blades on it dulled after only three days. After 60 days it is ready to throw away. I have old Norelco razors from 20 years ago that cut better than this one in just two months of use. Phillips Electronics, the owner of Norelco, has filed a lawsuit against them and is recalling the entire line of CPAP machines. It looks like they also destroyed the Norelco…

I don't get bad reviews - short and sweet

I've been using electric shavers for 30 years. I've tried every variety. Also, being part of the Vine program, I update regularly. It's the best I've ever had. It is light, ergonomic, quiet and the charge lasts a long time. After 3 weeks it is still fully charged. The most important ones for me are: 1. Comfort - by far the most comfortable shave I've ever had. Even the old Norelco razors made my neck red and sore. After shaving with it, it was like nothing had touched my skin. Amazing.2. Superb

Works well, value is questionable.

The Norelco 6900 shaver offers you a close shave with great comfort. However, it doesn't shave *better* (closer) than their 7 year old 6945xl, which sells for about 1/3 the price. What I expect from a straight razor is a close shave. It does, but so did the 6945xl and I couldn't tell any difference between the two when I shaved one side of my face with the 6900 and the other with the 6945. I want to make that clear in almost every other way the newer 6900 is better than 6945xl. Shaving is much…

5 hours of shade until noon

The name speaks for itself. I've had this since early January 2020. I've read the instructions. I use it after them. I even waited to write this review because according to the manual there is a "break-in period" and anyone's performance during that time will not be a good representation of the product. Honestly I would rather shave with it because I have to shave every day. But after using this for a few months my face gets a 5 o'clock shadow by noon no matter how many little circles…
