Disappointing Phillips Drivers for Automotive Repairs

After trying this product, I am not impressed. While the Phillips drivers looked sturdy and reliable, they did not perform well when used on automotive repairs. The drivers kept slipping and the tips became stripped easily. The only pro is that they were easy to grip. However, the cons outweigh the pros, making this a poor choice for anyone looking for high-quality tools for automotive repairs.

Pros
  • Convenient size for compact spaces
Cons
  • Limited to only 2 inches in length

Top quality. Made in the USA.

Very comfortable length for many tasks. I didn't have the flat point issues that the other reviewer had. I have not used the tool for smaller screws where this could be an issue. For larger screws (sizes you would turn with a power tool) it works great for me. Made in the USA.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • There are disadvantages

Flat tip is a pain

I was glad to get it but my excitement faded once I started using it. The tip of the bit is flat rather than pointed, making it difficult to use. The flat tip will not "find" the slots in the head of the screw, so you must visually align the bit with the screw. It also wobbles a lot when trying to tighten the screws. You must hold the screw while turning, otherwise it will fall. This makes short self-tapping screws very difficult. In my work these bits are useless. They ended up at the bottom…

Pros
  • Enjoyable
Cons
  • Obsolete
