Description of πŸ”§ Phoenix Systems 2005-B Bench Brake Bleeder Kit: One-Person Bleeder for All Makes and Models

Patented Reverse Bleeding removes more trapped air than any other brake bleeder by simply pushing Brake Fluid fluid from the bottom up. Reverse bleeding is the only method capable of bleeding tough ABS units without a scan tool. Allows you to refill and bench bleed a completely dry brake or clutch system. Perform Reverse, Vacuum, Pressure and Bench bleeding all with the same tool. The Bench Bleeder is considered a Medium Duty tool for average shop use. Compatible with DOT 3, 4 and 5.1 brake fluid. Is the easiest one-person bleeder you will ever use. No more asking your co-worker to help you finish a brake job.

It is great!

Great job, I don't know how I ever managed to bleed brakes without this tool. It works very well to bleed fluid from the master cylinder through the system or to force fluid from the bleed port into the master cylinder while removing all air. I would recommend this article 10,000 times!

Pros
  • Sleek design
Cons
  • Fine

Nice tool to have in your box.

I used this on a 2000 Dodge Durango. The manual said it had to be bled at the dealer, which cost $200. I decided the bleeding tool was worth trying. I think it did a great job. The pedal feels better than I've ever felt using traditional methods. It was also better than having my kids or my wife brake for me.

Pros
  • Hard Finish
Cons
  • Almost never

It was very difficult to move slowly enough to block the wind.

see no advantages. The instructions were confusing and it was very difficult to move slowly enough when pouring to avoid having to aerate the liquid and wait for it to settle. I ended up doing it the old fashioned way, with a hose and bottle 1/4 full, and wishing I'd missed out on that $70 purchase.

Pros
  • few competitors
Cons
  • security

Phoenix! fits brake tools

I have several years of mechanical experience and know how to use almost every tool in my toolbox. Bleeding the brakes isn't really a difficult task; it just takes a lot of time. I bought this fight 1 1/2 ago thinking it would save my time. The four times I took it out to use it, I just went back to old school to bleed the brakes. Firstly the tool never worked properly when trying to "undo the bleed", secondly trying to use it for the fifth time and guessing what broke it. hahaha So what…

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Faulty

Brake Bleed Pressure

Documentation ---- LOTS of words, especially an attempt to get the buyer to justify the purchase --- not enough in terms of real HOW procedures. Unlike most other products that offer customers 1/4" inner diameter tubing, Phoenix offers 3/16" inner diameter tubing ((that's what I NEED - thanks)). The quality of the injector leaves a lot to be desired. There were MANY problems with the piston activation ---- the o-rings "froze" on the cylinder. As soon as I got it going it squirted but didn't…
