Very bright but flickering.

Replaced a 10 watt mercury bulb with this new LED. Much brighter now. The only problem I have is that the light flashes very quickly. Was only one night, on as it should and off as it should. The update has seen other reviews of turning devices on and off and putting duct tape on a photocell. I put aluminum tape on half of the eye and now the device works fine. There are several other posts on this topic. It seems the company could put a less sensitive photocell in the device to avoid this. A…

The light goes on and off constantly, the dawn/dusk light sensor is sealed with tape. Problem solved.

While the light goes off and on again. I don't know if the ambient light sensor is responsible for this. UPDATE: The light was installed under a high-rise building. At night, the light reflected off the building causing the lights to cycle off and on again. I sealed the light sensor with aluminum tape and the problem was solved. I control the light with an Alexa voice control switch. Not interested in the morning to night function. While I am very happy with the capabilities of this light, it…

not working properly

required to install this lantern 30 feet up on a pole to find out the eye selected is not working properly - the light is blinking all night now I will try to fix it protect it. Photocell from the light by making a cover for it {like some lights} hope it works, if not they get that light back, I don't know why they don't make eye protection for that light when they have so many reflective light problems, they also make you think this Bobcat light is American commercial quality, but it comes…

The best light! Recommend! NEW UPDATE: Almost 5 years later throwback!

Great light, 2 cover screws are missing to hide the cables. I will buy again and recommend. Update: I purchased the 80 watt light in July 2017 and it has been a great light all along! So far it looked old and dirty in the light, the clear cover was slightly faded and needed replacing anyway! None of the LEDs went out all the time. Long story short, I think moisture somehow got in and may have messed up the photocell because everything it's doing now is blinking all the time! I returned to buy…

Great light and great seller

Installed this light to replace a 70w high pressure sodium lamp. This LED light is as bright if not brighter than sodium and is pure white (it doesn't have the yellow/orange glow that sodium had). The twilight cell turns it on and off at the right time and it was very easy to install once you read the very detailed instructions.
