Great pictures, description and instructions

This book covers all joints and how to study them properly with pictures to help any student understand which bony landmarks to feel and manipulate. In my practice, I don't often adapt to extreme situations, but this book will definitely set you on the right path to understanding and a successful career.

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities

A resource for those new to orthopedics

Comprehensive with numerous detailed (but easy to understand) anatomy diagrams of bony landmarks, tendons, etc. An excellent resource for healthcare providers new to orthopedics . Parameter. I am a general practitioner who recently started outpatient chiropractic rehabilitation and the physical therapist I work with recommended that I have specific orthopedic exams and study anatomy.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • There are new competitors

Simple, classic in medical books

As a student, I found this book to be an excellent supplement. It's simple and concise. What I like most is that it walks you through the exam step by step unlike my textbook. It guides you through a logical and comprehensive examination, like a beginner's guide to orthopedics. When I was a student, it was more helpful in developing my exam skills than a huge book full of terms, tests, and related anatomy like my core text.
